ORGANISATIONAL PROFILE
Community Development Infomage is also engaged in various community development projects. As a specialist in the development of skills for people with disability, Infomage regularly drives projects in partnership with organizations such as the NID NPC.
Infomage operates in all fields of disability, including mobility, mental disabilities, loss of sight and hearing disability. In the last year, we have capacitated more than 100 learners in Information Technology and Business Practice. More than 80% of learners that started this program have completed the academic requirements, whilst more than 60% found suitable employment.
Infomage, as part of the larger Infomage – Rims Group (IRG) is also active in the capacitation of the Community Education and Training Colleges (CET’s). During the 2021-2023 period, more than 100 CET staff members will undergo Management Development programs, sponsored by Corporate Clients, RIMS, and the EW Seta.
Infomage is also a service provider to the IYF, as project manager of 500 Google Programs. The Google project offers Google Certificate in IT Support; Project Management; Data Analytics and UX Design to final year TVET Learners in South Africa. Now, the project has more than 500 learners in the program, with an additional 400 plus, are waiting to enroll.
Infomage has also rolled out more than 7500 Critical Skills Training programs, to learners and Educators in both CET and TVET Colleges. As of July 2022, members of Appedt will have free access to Critical Thinking, on SkillzBook.com
